Cooltech Industries Side Boot is manufactured from high quality and robust galvanised sheetmetal and can be supplied to suit any diffuser neck size. Available with a variety of insulation types including 5mm rubber, 10mm rubber 25mm Polyester, 25mm fibreglass and 50mm fibreglass the Cooltech Industries Side Boot can be customised to suit any job type or specification. When choosing thicker insulation types insulated plenum boxes will be supplied “stepped” to maintain the internal airway size of the box which is crucial to ensuring that the airflow is maintained at the desired pressure and velocity as it passes through the plenum box.
Supplied with a Side Entry spigot located in the centre of the long side the Cooltech Industries Side Boot is predominately used in ceiling mount supply air applications however can also be utilised in side blow situation where flexible duct is being dropped down from above
Predominately used in conjunction with traditional ceiling mounted diffusers such as linear slot type grilles however due to its versatility can also be in conjunction with sidewall type grilles such as Double Deflection Grilles and Linear Bar Grille in all configurations.
