Description
The Cooltech Industries Non-Return Damper (NRD) is designed to prevent backdraft in air conditioning and exhaust systems, offering reliable and consistent performance. The outer frame is constructed from 2mm thick high quality extruded aluminium which is 155mm in depth and has a 35mm outer flange which provides the damper with rigidity & strength which ensures stability not only during installation, but also for the life of the damper. Its light weight extruded 0.9mm thick aluminium blades respond quickly to airflow changes and are secured with precision-engineered brass bushes for smooth, long-lasting operation. Centred support linkages further enhance its reliability, maintaining consistent performance across various air velocities.
To facilitate easy installation, the damper is equipped with four pre-punched oval mounting holes in each corner of the frame, making it adaptable to all types of TDF duct flanges.
Can also be manufactured as a Barometric style NRD which includes a built-in weighted pressure control mechanism which allows even greater control over relief air.
